Terms of service

Church Lane Media · Brisbane, Queensland

About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Church Lane Media agent portal and any photography, videography, drone, floor plan, or related services you book through it. By creating a booking or using the portal you agree to these terms.

Church Lane Media operates out of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Church Lane Media; "you" refers to the booking agent and, where relevant, the agency they book on behalf of.

Services

We provide real estate and commercial content services including photography, video, drone work, floor plans, day-to-dusk edits and related add-ons. The package you select at booking determines the deliverables and time on site.

We may refuse, reschedule or modify a booking where site conditions, weather, safety or access make the shoot unworkable. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you and propose an alternative.

Bookings and confirmation

A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email and SMS from us. The booking record in the portal is the source of truth for date, time, package and pricing.

It is your responsibility to ensure the property details, access instructions and any editing notes captured at booking are accurate and up to date before the shoot.

Pricing and GST

All prices displayed in the portal are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Surcharges (for example, floor plan surcharges on larger homes or dusk fees) are shown before you confirm a booking.

Invoicing is handled through Xero. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are issued after delivery and payable on the terms stated on the invoice.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Rescheduling is always free. If you need to change a booking, do so as early as possible through the portal or by contacting us directly.

Cancellations require at least 4 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 4 hours notice may incur a $65 late-cancellation fee to cover crew and travel.

If we cancel a shoot for reasons within our control, no cancellation fee applies and we will work with you to rebook at no cost.

Delivery of content

Our standard delivery windows are 24 hours for photography and 48 hours for video, measured in business hours from the end of the shoot. Large or complex jobs, weekends, public holidays and peak periods may extend these windows; we will flag any delay in advance where possible.

Delivered content is made available via a Dropbox delivery folder and an agent-facing delivery page linked from the portal. You are responsible for downloading and backing up the files; we are not obliged to keep originals indefinitely.

Licence and use of content

On full payment, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the delivered content to market the specific property or subject covered by the booking — including on your listings, social channels and agency marketing.

Copyright in all photographs, video, floor plans and other deliverables remains with Church Lane Media. Onselling, sublicensing, or reuse of the content for another property, portfolio or third party is not permitted without our written consent.

We may use delivered content in our own portfolio, website and marketing, unless you request otherwise in writing before delivery.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for property access, styling and readiness at the scheduled start time. Time lost to access issues, late arrivals, or significant styling on the day may shorten the shoot or incur additional charges.

Where a shoot is at an occupied property, you are responsible for obtaining any required consent from occupants before we arrive.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or in connection with a booking is limited to re-performing the affected service or refunding the amount paid for that service, at our election.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

We collect personal information (name, email, mobile, agency, booking addresses) to manage bookings, deliver content and invoice. We do not sell personal information. Delivered files may be stored on third-party services such as Dropbox and Xero as part of the normal operation of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect for a booking is the version published at the time the booking is confirmed. Continued use of the portal after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Queensland.
